Our Commitment

Basilosaurus is a terminal-native application. It runs entirely on your machine. We do not collect, store, or transmit your data. Period.

What We Don't Collect

Basilosaurus does not collect: API keys (stored locally in your config), chat history, code you write, files you edit, terminal commands, or any usage analytics. Nothing leaves your machine.

API Providers

When you connect Basilosaurus to an LLM provider, your prompts are sent directly to that provider's API. Each provider has its own privacy policy. Basilosaurus does not intermediate or log these requests.

Website

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect anonymous usage data per their privacy policy. We do not use cookies, trackers, or analytics on this site.

Open Source

The full source code is available for audit at GitHub. You can verify there is no telemetry or data collection in the source.
